SSHDeck: SSH File Browser app icon

Your servers.
Files and shell, one window.

SSHDeck: SSH File Browser is a native Mac workspace for the servers you already manage with SSHDeck: browse remote files, transfer them by drag and drop, and run commands side by side.

Your SSHDeck servers

Reads the server list from your SSHDeck CLI configuration. No second connection database to maintain.

Remote file browser

Browse remote folders, search by name, create folders, rename and delete — with confirmation before anything is removed.

Drag-and-drop transfers

Drop files or folders onto the window to upload. Download files and folders, watch progress and cancel at any time.

Terminal in the same window

Run commands on the server without leaving the file browser. Open several servers side by side in tabs.

Uses your own OpenSSH

Connects through the system OpenSSH client. Host key verification and your known_hosts are never bypassed.

Keys stay yours

Supports SSH keys, ssh-agent and passwords stored in the macOS Keychain. Passwords are never written to config files or logs.

Good to know

The built-in terminal is line-based for now: it runs ordinary commands, but full-screen programs such as vim or tmux are not supported yet. Remote file listing needs python3 on the server.

Requirements

macOS 14 Sonoma or later and a server configured with the SSHDeck CLI.
