SSHDeck: SSH File Browser · Last updated: October 20, 2026

Short version: SSHDeck: SSH File Browser does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. The only network connections it makes are the SSH connections you start to your own servers.

What the app accesses

The app reads your SSHDeck configuration file on your Mac to list your servers. When you connect, it uses the system OpenSSH client to talk to the server you chose, to list, upload, download, rename and delete files, and to run commands you type. Files and command output travel only between your Mac and your server.

Credentials

Passwords are read from the macOS Keychain when needed and are never saved in the configuration file, logs or on disk. SSH keys are used from the location you configured. Host key verification is handled by OpenSSH and is never disabled.

No tracking, no third parties

The app contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting service or third-party SDKs. We operate no server that receives data from the app and cannot see your servers, files or commands.

Children

The app does not collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
