Getting started
Add at least one server with the SSHDeck CLI. The app reads ~/.sshdeck/config.json automatically; set SSHDECK_CONFIG_PATH or SSHDECK_CONFIG_DIR for a custom location. Then pick a server in the sidebar.
Frequently asked
Where are my passwords stored?
In the macOS Keychain under the service name “SSHDeck”. They are never written to the configuration file.
Why can’t I list files on my server?
Remote listing runs python3 on the server. Install it there, or check the message shown in the app.
Host key verification failed.
The app never disables host key checks. Verify the server’s key and fix the entry in ~/.ssh/known_hosts.
Can I run vim or tmux?
Not yet. The terminal runs ordinary line-based commands.
Does the app send my data anywhere?
No. See the Privacy Policy.
